About Myself

My name is Nathan Boyd and I am an artist based in Southern California that enjoys working with both digital and traditional media. Presently, I am working at Blizzard Entertainment as a Senior Surfacing Artist in the Film Department. Previously, I've worked as a Texture Painter creating visual effects for feature films at Sony Pictures Imageworks in Culver City and Rhythm and Hues Studios in Los Angeles. In July 2008, I graduated from the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood. Prior to Gnomon, I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where I received a Bachelors degree in Computer Science with a Fine Art Minor.
